What You'll Do
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will lead the design and development of our ingestion systems at the core of Kenzo’s agentic security platform. With a deep background in distributed systems and data infrastructure, you’ll play a critical role in building scalable pipelines that power real-time security operations. This is a high-impact role where you’ll work closely with engineering and product to shape foundational backend architecture from the ground up.
Responsibilities
Architect large-scale data ingestion and processing pipelines (real-time & batch)
Build distributed systems optimized for scale, performance, and reliability
Lead hands-on development and help shape our cloud-native infrastructure
Collaborate cross-functionally to align engineering with product vision
Minimum Requirements
10+ years of experience building backend systems and distributed architectures
Strong knowledge of Kafka, Spark, or similar big data tools
Familiarity with a range of cloud technologies and architectures
Startup mindset with the ability to thrive in fast-moving environments
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Have
Domain experience in security, fintech, or healthcare
